    Illuminate: A Confirmation Retreat

    ​Jesus said, “I have come that they may have life, and have it abundantly.”
     
    He sent the Holy Spirit that we might experience this full life.
     
    This confirmation retreat will help your youth encounter and understand the Holy Spirit as the one Jesus sent to reveal His love to us and serve as guide, teacher, and friend.
     
    The retreat will cover:

    • Who the Holy Spirit wants to be for you and how to form a relationship with him.

    • Why we need the Holy Spirit’s love and grace.

    • How to trust in and surrender to the power of the Holy Spirit in imitation of Mary.

    Building Trust: A Retreat

     
    Right now there is crisis of trust in our country. Almost 60% of young people believe most people can’t be trusted.
     
    Yet trust is at the heart of our relationship with Jesus and an authentic relationship with another person.
     
    Building friendships rooted in trust is an essential key to our growth as disciples and having the fulfilling life that Jesus wants for us.

    This retreat will focus on how to build trust within a youth group with a special emphasis on:

    • What is trust?

    • What to do when trust is broken?

    • How do we repair trust and move forward?

    • How can I hold on to trust when life is difficult?​​
